Description: Rich, ripe blackberry and mulberry flavours are complimented by a subtle hint of spice and a toasty vanillan flavour. 

Food Match:  Prosciutto wrapped steak with mushroom and leek tart

Description:  A full bodied wine displaying aromas of violet and luscious dark plum and black currant flavours.  A strong tannin structure supported by toasty oak flavours.

Food Match:  Lamb cutlets with sticky balsamic figs

2009 'Dry Grown' Semillon  SOLD OUT

Description:  Luscious lime/lemon characters with a broader mouth feel and softer acid.

Food Match:  30 degree celcius, front deck and one good friend!

2008 3 Litre 'Alexander' Chardonnay

 

Bottles Produced:  80 bottles

Winemaker:  Mark Woods

Medals:  2 Silver medals and 1 Bronze medal.

Description:  Subtle lime and nectarine characters with a strong smoky, toasty character.  Hints of musk and nutmeg spice.  A dry style chardonnay.

Food Match:  Prosciutto wrapped, corn fed chicken breast, with a light mustard sauce.

Cellaring:  5 years.

2007 Chambourcin   SOLD OUT

 

A light to medium bodied style which balances some big forward mulberry, cherry fruit with the traditional earthy, barn-yardy Hunter characters.

This second parcel of chambourcin produced from the 2007 vintage was matured in 1-2 year old American oak, which has brought out some quite meaty / bacon characters!
