Unwooded Chardonnay

The Hunter Valley is renowned for producing some of Australia's finest Chardonnays. The warm climate is conducive to producing full bodied Chardonnays of rich fruit character, stainless steel tank fermented to display the primary fruit structure of these wines.

The 'Over The Hill' Chardonnay comes from the large block just at the back of Coombe Rise Vineyards, hence, just over the hill.

Unwooded chardonnays display rich, ripe forward characteristics of apricot, stone fruit and peach. Drink young to enjoy the crisper fruit aspects or age for at least 3 years to develop a more integrated 'dried fruit' character.
